- Product "K2" is a 100% load control type governor.
- Provides 60 Hertz (or 50Hz) governing at 400, 480,
or 600 volts for alternating current, stand-alone
hydro-electric power systems.
- Can be used on single or three phase systems.
- Built into a single enclosure to reduce field wiring.

Description
The Product "K2" is housed in a CEMA 12 dust-tight, wall mount, steel enclosure. The dimensions are 24" wide by 36" tall by 10" deep. The front panel has a frequency meter and a percent load meter plus 10 indicator lights which can be used to monitor the status of the steps and system time-keeping. An auxillary terminal strip inside can be utilized to manage four additional higher priority remote external relay loads for load management purposes and peak power handling. Shipping weight is approx. 170Lbs / 77 kgs.

Load Control Governors

Accuracy of Frequency Control
Long-term frequency accuracy is typically 0.005 Hz. Short-term frequency deviations during large load changes are 0.5 hertz, 1 hertz, 2 hertz, or 4 hertz depending on internal switch settings. These figures may be exceeded momentarily for very large load changes.

System Time-Keeping
Typically 10 seconds per day maintained by an internal quartz crystal.

Spare parts kit
Includes one SCR power block, trigger module, power relay, solid state control relay, fuses, control transformer and a spare computer module.
